πŸ’™ Bell Let’s Talk Day at St. Albert Learning Centre πŸ’™

Today was extra special as Bell Let’s Talk Day fell on our Wellness Wednesday, a perfect fit for a day dedicated to mental health, reflection, and caring for one another.
We began the morning with our amazing Cambrian College placement students who prepared warm, delicious pancakes for our entire school community; a simple act of kindness that brought smiles, connection, and comfort to everyone who walked through our doors. πŸ₯ž
In the afternoon, we were honoured to welcome Heather Osborne, who visits us once a month to work with our students on mental wellness. Her message today was a powerful reminder that our brains are trainable β€” the more we practice healthy thinking and coping strategies, the stronger we become. She spoke about how perspective matters, and how becoming aware of our triggers is the first step toward growth, self-regulation, and resilience.
Bell Let’s Talk Day is about breaking the stigma, starting conversations, and reminding one another that it’s okay to not be okay β€” and that support is always available. Today, our school community chose compassion, connection, and courage. πŸ’¬
