Honouring Excellence: Aboriginal Secondary School Awards 2026

On June 4, several St. Albert Learning Centre students were recognized at the Aboriginal Secondary School Awards held at the Caruso Club.
This annual celebration, organized in partnership with the United Way, N’Swakamok Indigenous Friendship Centre, Sudbury Catholic District School Board, and Rainbow District School Board, honours the outstanding achievements of Indigenous students from across Sudbury and Manitoulin.
At St. Albert Learning Centre, one student from each program who had not previously received the award was selected for this special recognition.

One of the highlights of the evening was seeing our St. Albert Learning Centre community come together to celebrate these amazing students. Staff, family members, and friends were honoured to be there to cheer them on, recognize their achievements, and share in this special moment.
