🌱💚 Sometimes the best acts of kindness grow from a simple conversation.

Recently, a Nonna (grandmother) of a student at Pius XII visited St. Albert Learning Centre with her son to purchase plants for a Learning Support (LSC) classroom project. During her visit, she shared that the classroom was looking for donations of plants to help create a welcoming learning environment for the students.When our students heard about the need, they didn’t hesitate. They knew exactly what they wanted to do, they donated plants to help support the project at our sister school!Later this afternoon, the principal of Pius shared photos of the students hard at work planting. To our surprise, we spotted one of our own PSW students in the pictures, completing her placement at the school. How amazing to see our students supporting younger learners in multiple ways; through generosity, community service, and hands-on placement experiences.We are proud of the kindness and community spirit shown by our students.
