Day School Program (Credit Courses, Literacy & Basic Skills)
  • St. Albert offers continuous intake throughout the year for day school programs
  • you must be at least 18 years old to enrol at St. Albert Adult Learning Centre
  • you will need to bring a transcript of your high school credits (available from the last high school at which you obtained a credit)
  • registrations CANNOT be taken over the phone - you must come to school to register
  • you may begin school on any Monday or Tuesday provided you have paid a $40.00 book deposit
  • you can register following an information session, by contacting us for a personal appointment, or by dropping in at the school between 7:30 am and 3:00 pm each day
  • a skills assessment is available to help staff determine the program that is right for you

To register in a day school program, you will need:

  • a transcript of your high school credits (available from the last high school at which you obtained a credit)
  • a $40.00 book deposit payable by cash or cheque before you begin classes (refundable)
     
Correspondence Program
  • registration is held monthly on the first Friday of the month from October through April
  • no new registrations will be accepted in May, June, or September
  • the office at 504 St. Raphael St. is open from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm on registration days
  • registrations CANNOT be taken over the phone - registrations must be completed in person
  • if you cannot personally register on the listed dates, someone else can do it for you
  • no appointment is necessary to register for correspondence courses

To register for a correspondence course, you will need:

  • a transcript of your high school credits (available from the last high school at which you obtained a credit)
  • if you are registered in a regular high school at the present time, we will require a letter of permission from your high school guidance department including your name, DOB, OEN, course name and course code
  • a $40.00 book deposit payable by cash or cheque before you begin classes (refundable)
Computer Studies
  • St. Albert offers continuous intake throughout the year for self paced day school computer courses (see 'Day School Program' above for further information)
  • St. Albert is now offering accredited certifications in Microsoft Office programs. Improve your skills and martetability. We are offering: Word 2003, Level 1 & 2, Excel 2003, Level 1 & 2, and Powerpoint 2003, Level 1. Classes are self-directed and can be started at any time throughout the school year. Class time is 8:45am to 10:30am, daily. Cost is $150.00.

To register for Computer classes, you will need:

  • a $40.00 book deposit payable by cash or cheque before you begin classes (refundable)
English as a Second Language
  • St. Albert offers continuous intake throughout the year for English as a Second Language
  • students can begin at any time
  • registrations CANNOT be taken over the phone - you must come to school to register

To register for English as a Second Language, you will need:

  • a $40.00 book deposit payable by cash or cheque before you begin classes (refundable)
